For example, the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is an Ofgem regulated program set up in 2013 to help make the UK housing stock more energy efficient by installing various energy-saving measures to domestic premises. These measures are designed to help save people money on their energy bills, keep homes warmer and help to reduce carbon emissions.
